An introduction to CLIL

A self-paced introduction to CLIL covering these five topics: - An answer to the question: What is CLIL? - The benefits of CLIL - The challenges of CLIL - Characteristics of good CLIL teaching - Incorporating CLIL This course contains four short videos, summaries, suggestions for further reading, and assignments. The goal is to give you a sense of what it takes to become a CLIL teacher (or improve your CLIL teaching!) without spending too much time. Great for beginners in CLIL or teachers looking for a short course to sharpen their saw. The course contains four videos varying between 5 and 10 minutes each. A fast learner could complete the course in half an hour, but it goes without saying: the effect of the course will probably be better (and more lasting) when you do the assignments and reflection questions too. If you also take time to do the suggested reading, you could easily spend a couple of hours. It's up to you! Good luck!
